I had to place this in a delta valve and it worked well. Be carful when buying shower valves from big box stores. the cartgridges are not easily replaced. it took me a while to find all the parts to fix the failing valve and this part worked well.

Took me a bit of detective work to determine that this was the part needed for the Delta Classic Chrome tub-and-shower set that you’ll find at your local H*me Dep*t, but once I did, it was a quick and easy repair. The Delta is supposed to have a lifetime warranty, but if you’re like me, it’s easier to buy the part and make the repair than it is to try to negotiate the return-and-replace process.
