This information is FALSE. The thread size for the RP 47820 is too large to fit as a replacement. I am returning this purchase and must now look to find the correct part.

   I only knew that I had an older Peerless faucet, and the aerator head was clogged and rusty, with little flow. I looked closely at the unique shape of this one, and low and behold, it was correct – it fit perfectly and works perfectly. And the price, was very reasonable…perfect!
