   The only negative is that it’s visually a bit oversized for our kitchen/sink, but the functionality is a whole other level than our former 1/2 plastic faucet/sprayer unit. The sprayer on this unit is just amazing. A total step up. We had a plumber install it and it took 30 min. or less. Zero complaints thus far.

   Over the last couple of months I’ve been like Goldilocks trying to find the right kitchen faucet. The first faucet did not work properly. The second faucet, another Peerless, was great but did not have a pull-down sprayer. After a month or so of using it, I realized I really wanted a pull-down sprayer, so I ordered a third faucet. That was also great, but it was very modern and commercial looking and did not fit in with our kitchen decor. So finally, I found the right faucet with this Peerless Precept. The Peerless has everything you need. It’s very easy to install, listed at a great price and has the pull-down sprayer that I wanted. The only thing I would tell the manufacturer is that touching it tends to leave fingerprints. So, you have to clean it with a rag periodically. Other than that, I’m extremely happy with it!

   I placed my order for this item considering was a DELTA brand faucet; however, i would be surprised when i saw at the box it’s a PEERLESS brand faucet.

   UPDATE: I finally got this installed and am upgrading from four to five stars. This faucet performs beautifully and the pressure is good when using either regular flow or spray. The sprayer isn’t overly forceful and doesn’t make a mess, but is strong enough to spray debris from dishes. It’s a relatively concentrated spray and not wide, even at full pressure. The weight works well to help retract the sprayer hose, although as expected it requires a little manual push, but clips back into place perfectly. It’s perfectly ergonomic, moves smoothly, and feels well weighted all around. *** I find this design very clean, simple and stunning and suitable for a wide range of decor. Unfortunately I have not yet had this installed for me so I can’t yet comment on performance, only on the look and feel. I’ll update if my star rating changes after installation or if I have anything to add to the performance besides what has already been posted by other reviewers. The weight of this faucet is very substantial and the construction makes this feel like it will last and hold up to the expected daily use very well. The head swivels smoothly and with ease. The tap appears that the temperature is adjusted from the full vertical position for cold, and pulled forward to full horizontal toward the sink for hot. In theory it seems it might be obtrusive but I’ll have to evaluate in practice once installed. Pressure looks to be adjustable by pulling the lever away from the faucet to turn it on. The whole tap feels very smooth to operate in all directions. The spray head extends and retracts smoothly easily and snaps perfectly back in place with just a little push to seat securely. It’s not magnetic and won’t suck back into position. The chrome finish is highly polished; the aerator has different holes for output variable by the buttons behind the head. A little plasticky, but the buttons seem to press without being sticky. The escutcheon plate is simple and low profile. In all, I’m excited to switch out my dated and leaky old kitchen faucet for this upgraded, well-featured, sexy model. For the price the fitments and finish seem to be of very good value.

   Great quality product.
   Pros:
   – sturdy
   – metal construction
   – magnet at the top of the removable head
   – deep black color and modern design
   – no leaks

   Cons:
   – installation might be easier if manufacturer went for snap-in connectors

    I think this faucet is discontinued, and therefore I got a very good deal on it ($106). It seems comparable to my previous Moen in quality – and has the ceramic and lead free cert. I love that the hot temp handle faces down so I don’t ALWAYS drip water on the counter. The only drawback is that the sprayer isn’t magnetic and doesn’t snap back without help, but I don’t care. Hubby thought it was easy enough to install. I’m happy (the Moen hose gave out @ 6 years). Peerless is owned by Delta.

    Looks great but features are even better. Use one hand to operate spray. Turn water on and off with the back of your hand when you are in the middle of cooking and your hands are dirty! Very well designed and a bargain at this price.
