I got a variety of faucets in this Elmhurst line for different bathrooms in my house. This one was for the kids’ bathroom since it is lower than the other styles, but still the normal profile and height for a bathroom faucet. The other styles have a higher faucet profile which I actually prefer but will lead to more splashing on the counters. So the kids get this lower profile version.
Peerless is respectable brand for faucets which I want when I am installing permanent fixtures. It is not a highest tier brand, but it is a great option for budget conscious home improvers, made by the same company who makes Delta. This is a nice faucet. I love the design. It is much better than the builder’s grade faucet is is replacing. The piece arrived brand new, not used and in excellent condition. I like the two handle designs like these versus a single lever. They fit my sinks well. They look a little more elegant. And you can turn them on with the front of your hand and then turn them off with the back of your hand to try to reduce cross contamination. I much prefer these to knobs. Knobs always make me wonder why I am bothering to wash my hands if I am just going to touch the same surface again. So these are great and more sanitary while looking like an upgrade to my bathroom

There is just something about a brushed nickel finish which I really like and this Peerless design really caught my attention for its simplistic ellagance. Installation was very easy and competed in under an hour. The instructions were easy to follow with good diagrams and everything was wrapped and packaged with care to ensure that it arrived in mint condition.
My immediate observations after installation were …
– enhanced fluid quarter turn movement of the handles over my previous faucet
– No more pipe banging sounds in my wall when the water is switched on and off (yay!)
– Noticeably more efficient oxygenated flow of water than my previous faucet
Overall, I could not ask for more in a faucet. This is the second Peerless Elmhurst center set faucet that I have installed and it has been working great since installation.
I would highly recommend this faucet!

This is a pretty faucet and good quality for the low pricepoint. You aren’t getting the same construction or attention to detail in design that you might with some other brands or lines, but there’s nothing to turn your nose up at with this model.
The brushed nickel is really pretty, and would fit a lot of aesthetics. My main critique of the faucet is in the styling — it’s very “generic” if nice and elegant, and the handles seem a bit cramped on the main mounting surface.
All in all, however, it seems to be of good quality and will fit a lot of budgets and bathrooms.

I bought this faucet last year and the same one with a more upward curve for my faucet changeout last year and they have worked out great. My previous faucets were also Peerless and lasted for 15 yrs (were still good but my wife said they had to go). My niece is working on her bathroom ( I should say that I am working ) upgrade and I bought her 2 of these because the cheaper ones just don’t hold up….

I received my Peerless faucet set quickly. It came with instructions which were fairly easy to follow (are instructions ever easy or do they just have varying degrees of difficulty?) and we got it installed with the minimum of scraped knuckles and squeezed fingers. We are not plumbers. As a matter of fact, I almost forgot to turn off the water source before we began.
The faucet set is a nice satiny brushed silver. It came with a matching drain assembly that was only minimally more complicated to install than the faucet and handles. It was all ready to go with no surprises once we got it in there. It fit our standard 3-hole sink with zero issues.
The handles move smoothly and don’t have any looseness about them. The faucet is welded in place – it does not swivel at all, but we didn’t expect it to – just clarifying because someone asked me that question. The drain moves up and down in a nice tight movement, and the water stays in the sink and doesn’t leak when it’s closed. I can’t think of anything else to tell you about it, except I like it, I’m glad I have it, I will probably get one just like it for the half bath downstairs.

Peerless is the homeowner-installed value brand of plumbing fixtures owned by the building products conglomerate Masco, which also owns Delta, Grohe and Brizo among other fixture manufacturers. Peerless is at the low end of Masco’s offerings, but Peerless faucets share many internal parts with Delta and have the same lifetime warranty. So in many respects you’re getting Delta quality when you buy Peerless, but at a significantly reduced price.
This is an attractive three-hole faucet with a quality finish and ceramic cartridge. It will be a durable fixture. The faucet does not come with supply lines. You need to buy those separately. It does include a drain assembly of the same finish as the faucet which opens and closes in the typical way–by lifting and lowering a rod running through the center of the fixture.
If you like the design and appearance of the faucet in the picture, you will like the faucet in person. Its heft and finish are quite satisfying–and well worth the relatively small increase in price over cheap faucets with questionable warranties.
