   This product was used to update our kitchen faucet. It was well packaged and the instructions were very clear and simple. The instructions came with the disassembly of your previous faucet which was very helpful. As mentioned by previous reviews this item works best out of the box if your precious faucet has one hole and not three. It’s esthetically pleasing and the Black finish is seamless. Love the ease of flow between the water settings. The three water settings are very practical and useful especially the spray function that washes food debris off the plates. Overall a very great product.

   The first thing I will say about this is that this faucet works REALLY well. The installation difficulty level all depends on the sink replacement. For me, the sink replacement was REALLY tough because the old faucet was a bit rusted onto the sink. If it a new sink, it i should be pretty easy. You do require tools and possibly some plumber putty to make this work. This faucet at least has all the needed pieces in order to make this faucet work. You do not have to use any of the old pieces which is nice although some times you can use from the old faucet if it fits. You could have extra attachments if you do use old universal pieces. The installation can be easy for any beginner. There are also instructions on how to install the device as needed but you should be aware it varies based on the sink and water line. All the parts are pretty well made. There is definitely some assembly required and everything is pretty much just screw into place. The handles are pretty tough so you do not have to be afraid of it breaking off or requiring effort to turn. It is one of those turn to control temperature and intensity. The turning mechanism seems pretty sturdy and is not loose. I did not see any leaks but just be gentle when turning. You do not have to put a ton of force on the faucet.. In terms of installation after I removed the old one, I was able to easily connect to to my sink without much trouble. There were no leaks so long as you do everything according to instructions and there are no damages to the cables provided. It is universal so it should fit pretty much your standard kitchen sink opening but again always double check in case of a different design. It has a nice black paint look to it. Short of sanding the piece down, it should not chip away or anything. This faucet fit my kitchen decorum pretty nicely which I was lucky about. The pressure is pretty good and the faucet hook is nice to make it look like a normal sink while also giving you the ability to use it as a hose to clean your dishes easier. Be aware this is on a spring so you have to use some force to pull it down and such. Overall this is a good faucet to have. It is sturdy and well made. It is very easy to install and does not require any additional attachments to make this device work (as it comes with everything). Obviously it does not come with tools to install. The instructions are pretty straight forward making this easy to install unless you have a really rusted old faucet you need to remove first. There were no leaks or anything which is a plus. The pressure is good and the pull out attachment is sturdy/nice to have.

   I have installed other Peerless (bathroom) faucets and have been very satisfied with their appearance and performance. This one is yet another great product. We love the high ark, and the sprayer with three different rinse modes. It also earns high marks for it’s attractive, modern looks.

   The only thing I wasn’t too thrilled with was that the faucet does not come with a deck plate and does not come with a soap dispenser. So if you are upgrading from an older 3 hole faucet with separate sprayer, you will need to buy some extra parts. At this price point, one might expect these items to be included as they often are with Moen and even off brand faucets here on peerlessoutlet.com.

   Masco Corporation owns a number of faucet lines including Peerless, Delta and Brizo. Masco also owns a majority interest in hansgrohe, the German manufacturer of plumbing fixtures.

   Peerless is Masco’s value line, priced below Delta, Brizo and hansgrohe. I’ve read that Delta often shares parts with Peerless, but Peerless designs tend to be somewhat dated and its manufacturing materials are less sturdy than Delta. Peerless will use plastic exterior parts on faucets, and its metal will often be a zinc alloy rather than the more expensive solid brass Delta uses. Peerless’s market is homeowners and do-it-yourselfers, and they give detailed instructions to help purchasers install their products.

   Despite being a value brand, Peerless offers a lifetime warranty on it parts–just as Delta and hansgrohe do. In particular, their cartridges, the heart of a faucet, are on par with Delta’s.

   This is a nice, mid-level kitchen faucet made primarily of metal. The hose which goes through the spring is some kind of mesh-reinforced plastic polymer. It’s not simply strong plastic like Pex.

   The black metal finish is pretty matte, and that may lead to more obvious mineral deposit stains over time, but it sure looks nice initially. The faucet shaft’s metal base does not rest directly on the countertop, but must be placed on a short black plastic foundation which also acts as a gasket to keep water from getting under the sink through the hole for the faucet. I prefer internal compressible gaskets under the faucet base, but at least this external base matches the color of the faucet.

   Buy this faucet with confidence if you like the design. It will last well, and customer service from Masco/Delta is great.

   This faucet looks quite nice and modern. It also uses very little water, which is a great thing if you’re washing hands or dishes but not such a great thing if you’re filling up your giant pasta pot! We have this faucet installed with a 36” single basin sink and have determined that it would work better in a smaller sink – the hose simply isn’t long enough to reach the edges of the sink very well.
