   Light weight and nozzle/sprayer does not fit properly or return easily to its magnetic point. I would return it for one of better quality and performance but it’s too late.

   Masco Corporation owns a number of faucet lines including Peerless, Delta and Brizo. Masco also owns a majority interest in hansgrohe, the German manufacturer of plumbing fixtures. Peerless is Masco’s value line, priced below Delta, Brizo and hansgrohe. I’ve read that Delta often shares parts with Peerless, but Peerless designs tend to be somewhat dated and its manufacturing materials are less sturdy than Delta. Peerless will use plastic exterior parts on faucets, and its metal will often be a zinc alloy rather than the more expensive solid brass Delta uses. Peerless’s market is homeowners and do-it-yourselfers, and they give detailed instructions to help purchasers install their products. Despite being a value brand, Peerless offers a lifetime warranty on it parts–just as Delta and hansgrohe do. In particular, their cartridges, the heart of a faucet, are on par with Delta’s. This is a nice, mid-level kitchen faucet made primarily of metal. It rests on a separate metal base which is not part of the barrel of the faucet–it’s a nice touch that the base is metal rather than plastic. The spray tip is retained in the end of the faucet by gravity–no magnet. Buy this faucet with confidence if you like the design. It will last well, and customer service from Masco/Delta is great.

   I’d say this is a 4.5 stars – but can only give whole ratings. Faucet feels of good quality, and looks sharp. The locking nut under the sink is a good system, so you can screw the nut on by hand, and then use a screwdriver to tighten to the bottom of the sink. The pull down portion of the hose retracts easily back into the housing with the included weight. The odd: We found the integrated water supply hoses to be too short to reach the water shutoffs at the bottom of our cabinet, so it necessitated a trip to Lowe’s to get an extension. If your shutoffs are on the bottom of the cabinet, you may be in the same boat. If your supply comes out of the wall inside your cabinet, you’ll probably be okay. We were literally only 1.5 inches short – so buying additional supply lines was a pain. The sticker marked “hot” on one of the integrated supply lines may have been reversed – it didn’t make sense based on how the water temp should be set up (pull towards you, cold, push away from you, hot) – this faucet was backwards based on that sticker. Maybe the sticker was accidently placed on the wrong line, or their design is odd – either way, a quick fix by switching the pipe the supply line is attached to.

   This company is associated with Hansgrohe (which produces higher end fixtures) and Delta. It’s a well made faucet that is easy to install. NOTE: It does NOT come with a deckplate, if you have three holes in your sink. This was not a problem for me, but other reviewers note it’s not easy to find a matching one. The finish is attractive and easier to keep looking clean that the shiny chrome ones. The pull down spray works well – I love the harder spray to remove food particles from plates. I expect this to last a fair amount of time, and given the price, rate it 5 stars.

   experiencing an issue with getting low volume of hot water thru – it’s predominately cold and hot water pressure is 1/3 of what cold water is like.

   Something is not right with this faucet.

   In my family, I am called the faucet queen because I insist on rotating them and switching them out all the time and I love faucets. This one is really quite nice and has a nice heft to it. The pivot arm is smooth and easy to turn. The handle is easy to operate. The pull down faucet is a little on the small side, which most are these days, but also pulls down very easily. The only issue I have been able to find is that the pull down is a little small for larger hands, while working very well for my hands. The handle is actually one that I can operate with my elbow, when needed, which is not typical for an integrated handle, although it’s not as easy as with a stand alone handle. The color and finish are as shown and it is very easy to wipe clean so that it doesn’t spot or end up with calcium and lime deposits. The aerator is good and the spray is good. This is a keeper.
