   We had the exact same model Number P188200LF for years. So, when i wanted a new faucet, I hunted for this exact model number. I noticed the box color had changed from the blue box to the green and white one. That concerned me. But, the faucet looked the same from the exterior. But, since im no plumber, i dont know the inner workings of the faucet. When installed, it sure wasnt the exact same faucet that we’ve always had!!!! After learning more, it appears you changed from a washerless ball value to some other value system. Thats about the only thing i could figure out. This appears to have changed how the handle moves and turns. It doesnt turn the way a faucet should, it has some weird swivel action. To me this is complete false advertisement and marketing. How are consumers supposed to know when a product changes if you dont change the model numbers? I looked for the exact model number because this old one was the one i wanted. But you went and changed it without telling us. So, now, i have to either live with this crappy handle or pay the plumber more money and time to replace it. What a joke.

   Feels cheap compared to the P188500LF which I bought a year ago. Handle doesn’t turn the way I have ever seen a single handle turn, seems counterintuitive. Will return.

   We have an older house with an original 1963 kitchen. I love it and don’t want to go through the cost and time of a remodel at this time. So when I needed a new faucet I didn’t want to get a modern fancy one that would look out of place with my older (but sturdy!) sink and kitchen. I bought this for super cheap, less than $40 I think, so if it didn’t work out I wouldn’t feel too bad about returning it.

   I love it. I use it with a wide mouth aerator, like the ones your mom used to have as a kid, and it works great. The handle is smooth to turn up, down, left, right and doesn’t stick. I’m able to turn on with just the flick of my wrist which is great when your hands are dirty. Even my husband who had his doubts about this “cheap faucet” is very pleased with it after about 4 months of use so far.

   It’s not the quality of earlier Peerless products. There is a very small warm sweet spot. Water is either hot or cold. Also, the handle casting is made very poor where the set screw is. Screw doesn’t want to stay tight. Will look for a better replacement ball and will use some non-hardening pooky on the set screw.
