I installed this shower trim kit to replace an old and dingy Delta Monitor 1400 series. The entire kit will be a perfect install, aside from the Multichoice 13/14 cartridge, which is a bit different in dimensions. The shower head has a general, rain-type setting, and a massage setting. Note: this (plastic) spout requires a 1/2” copper pipe to install directly over, otherwise this will not work for you. The entire trim kit gives off a premium and modern look. It honestly feels like we upgraded our entire shower!

When it says “valve not included” I do believe they are intending to say the “universal valve body” is not included, whereas the valve (the cartridge) almost assuredly is. The valve body is the large hunk of brass that the pipes solder to and that the cartridge and trim interface with.

Ordered brush nickel but got a black tub spout with the remaining parts brushed nickel. Its a shame because the rest of the parts looked nice.
