The valve does work, however the new water pressure that we have with this valve is terrible. I cant stand to shower in the newly remodeled bathroom, I have long hair and dont have 5 minutes just to get my hair wet.

Take out the limiting piece if you want the hot water to be fully the temp of your water heater. Won’t be luke warm then. Works good and has a smooth sweep.
Black plastic spacer between wall and shower unit is thin and flexible so be careful when you install it. Works fine just don’t break its mounting points.
