Just finished with a kitchen remodel. Choose this faucet because it was simple and clean looking. So far its been great – easy to use and the right size for us. I like that it has a small footprint behind our sink and walks a line between industrial and country looking. We did have to send an identical one back due to a leak at the top of the curve – water sprayed out in a tiny stream like a water balloon with a nick in it. Hopefully that was a one off and the current one will last forever.

It seems single handle faucets have become the norm, and to me they do have a cleaner look. But in retrofit situations, you have to consider what to do if you are replacing a 2 handle faucet. If you are replacing your countertop at the same time it should be no problem, but if you are just replacing the faucet you’ll need to cover the extra holes. It should be noted that this faucet does not come with a cover plate as standard, but one is available to order separately.
Other than this, this is a quick way to spruce up a kitchen.

I have been going through the house in this age of Stay at Home, and fixing things I wanted to update, or needed replacing. I had a 30 year old brass faucet with soldered hose ends, and a blown washer I could not get at. It was time to update the gold to silver! So while perusing faucets I saw this one. It is for a bar, so I do not need the pull down shower head. It took a cutting saw and some serious elbow grease to get the old faucet removed, but after cleaning the opening, this went on in under five minutes. I did use silicone sealant under the faucet washer because my sink is old and uneven, however, that is unnecessary if your faucet has a flush surface to mount it to. The only tools needed are Phillips head screwdriver, thread tape, and maybe a wrench. The hot and cold hoses were long enough to reach my shutoff valves (this is a big deal because it means I do not need to chain another sink hose in the cabinet and increase the chance of leaks) the neck swivels, and the faucet on/off handle is lovely. This product free in exchange for an honest review.

Very smooth action and spray pattern that speaks to the quality of this faucet. Installation was simple with the included lines, and since it’s a basic faucet without the pullout head, it simplified installation because it’s not as top heavy and there’s less lines to connect, no weight or hanging line, etc.

The Peerless Westchester Single-Handle Kitchen Sink Faucet looks great and was pretty easy to install. Unlike some of the faucets I have installed, this one comes with complete step by step instructions so that I was not left trying to identify parts like had been the case with the Delta faucet I put in the kitchen. The faucet itself is lightweight, but not so lightweight that it feels cheap. The faucet turns on easily and doesn’t leak at all when the handle is in the closed position. With our house renovations, I have been installing and swapping out a number of kitchen sink faucets of similar designs, but this one is the favorite without a sprayer so far due to its ease of installation and use.

This is a value line from Delta. I think it is certainly a worthy upgrade from older style 80’s and 90’s builder grade kitchen sink faucets. This Westchester series has a certain kind of appeal in the clean lines accented with cylindrical ring details. The right hand side lever makes for easy one handed operation. The lever is smooth operating with good precision in water temperature and flow control. This kit comes with supply lines so it has everything you will need to install it. This is a single pattern with no spray head fixture. So keep that in mind. I have often converted old spray wand holes to become soap dispenser locations or filled them with a plug. I think this is a good value for the price. The chrome finish is excellent and uniform. If you have a 3 hole sink you will need the optional deck plate. 5 stars for quality and value.
