Looks even better in person. I bought the plate separately because I was replacing a three hole faucet. I’m a do it yourself person anyway but install was a breeze! Follow the directions and it would be hard to mess this up. Replaced a $350 faucet with this one and I like this one so much better. Looks and functions great!
Installs VERY easily. The hardest part was removing the old unit. I gave it 4 instead of 5 as it seems a bit lightweight, doesn't mean its bad, I would just prefer a bit more meat to it. Seems to work just fine, no leaks after install, mechanism is smooth. Time will tell though. I removed my garbage disposal (replacing that as well) and it made it much easier to work under the sink. I recommend watching a youtube vid on how to install this faucet as well as one for removal of garbage disposal, there is less to it than I thought, just hard to get up behind the sink. Good luck
I really like my new faucet but parts were missing (in photos provided). Good we didn't plan on using the missing part.
The style, black finish and look is very nice. It has three sprays. It does have a water saver and you will have to disassemble the nozzle to remove it, this creates a low water pressure out of the nozzle. It is weighted to pull the nozzle back in the spout. Overall decent product.
I have an older home, and I have chosen to embrace the vintage fixtures rather than replace them. My bathroom sink has been particularly problematic. It’s a wall mounted fixture with a high back and very shallow clearance between the faucet and the back of the sink. The previous homeowners had installed a low-end faucet with chunky plastic handles. I would scrape my knuckles turning the faucet on and off. Literally scrape them. I looked at a number of different faucets before settling on this one. I wanted to go with a well known manufacturer. I wanted to know that the faucet would not be junk. Peerless is a good brand. I’ve used their products in the past. I know they manufacture quality products. I also had to find a style that would look good with my vintage sink. This faucet fit the bill. My husband installed this faucet. He is a lot of things, but a handyman is not one of them. Still, the installation instructions were clear, and he was able to install it himself. I’m very happy with this faucet. It looks great with my sink. It updated it in both fashion and form. I can turn my faucet on and off without ripping up my knuckles. It looks great. It works great. Five stars from me!
This new design of RP70538 cartridge is different than the old design. At first, I was sceptical and was little nervous that this might not work with my faucet but I was glad that it did work as my shower's faucet was severely leaking from past couple days and I needed this like yesterday. However, my plumber mentioned that he didn't had to use the top Hue Greenish piece (I have uploaded the pictures of the old cartridge). Because of the urgency I had, having Prime shipping was great. Came within 2 days.
